Café Description
The gender digital divide is a pressing issue, with girls facing disadvantages in digital adoption, lower access to technology, and unequal benefits compared to boys. This divide is exacerbated by digital solutions designed with a default male user in mind, neglecting factors like connectivity, device access, platforms, digital literacy, and content relevance for girls. Despite good intentions, design teams often unintentionally favor a predominantly male user base. Bridging this divide requires more inclusive and gender-aware digital design practices.
